Bandaid Fish

"Wow, did anyone else see that band-aid fish?"
"Yea! Did you see that used bubblegum coral?"

Okay, so confined swimming pool dive training is a little lack luster, but it's still really cool-- because breathing underwater is a pretty damn swell. The only part I didn't like, "full flood mask clearing" and "mask replacement" where, like an idiot, you take off your mask, hang out without it for a minute, swim around and put it back on (full of water), then breathe out your nose to clear it.
But, when you're underwater there's pressure.
Pressure that causes water to leap into the mask and directly up your nose-- which feels like drowning, even when you're fine.
So. This took me a while. Several tries and a couple panics. Everything else went smoothly, even equalizing, I passed all my other skills no problem, but the mask stuff took a while and several attempts. It didn't help that the swedish girl in my 3 person group is the most ansty human being on the planet whose jittery about everything and begged to switch me masks and I ended up with a horrible leaky one and had to clear it, alot.
Tomorrow at 7:00 we take a taxi to the boat and then OCEAN!
Down to 12 meters.
